You would think we had won the lottery. We were that excited.
A little over two years ago, we read in the local paper that a new library would be built nearby. Each month, we would drive by and comment on how well "our" library was coming together. We couldn't wait. As soon as the day for the Grand Opening was made known, we marked our calendars. Even though we couldn't attend the morning Grand Opening event, we went as soon as we were able and made ourselves at home.
We are so thankful to have children who LOVE to read!
While others of us got down to business reading books, one of us settled down for some quiet time. :) 
Yes, he fell asleep. In his defense, he was up at the crack of dawn to to volunteer at an Eagle project clearing brush for a hiking path at the dam. He is such a hard worker.
