Atteeeeen.....tion!

For J's 7th Birthday he wanted an "Army Party." We recruited some help from his older siblings to throw him a party he is sure to remember.

M enlisted each party attendee.  Later the Staff Sargeant conducted roll call before warming them up with some drills.

They first ran through an obstacle course created by older brother E.
Then they had parachute training. One young soldier was scared he would have to jump out of a plane. He was happy to find out it was tossing sandbags and crawling underneath. The last outside activity was the grenade launch.  Most of them hit the target.
After target practice, we marched to the mess hall for chow.

While the soldiers waited for the food to be set up, they were divided into teams to build forts.  Then the bombing began. Every once in awhile they would have to restock their ammunition.
Our wonderful kitchen helpers!

Happy Birthday to a great little trooper!
