A couple of months ago, our church music chairman passed around a sign up sheet for people interested in participating in the choir or to do musical numbers for the holiday season. I eagerly volunteered my children. :) We found some appropriately leveled music and set them to practicing. In the original scheme of things M was going to play the cello while K played the violin and I accompanied them on the piano. We realized we could involve more of our children, if we switched it up a little.
M and Calley played a beautiful piano duet of "O Come All Ye Faithful." They are so cute together. I loved listening to their song when they got together to practice.
E played a duet with K. E on his cello and K on her violin. They played a simple rendition of "Away in a Manger." (I accompanied on the piano.) We owe a lot to K's violin teacher, Aunty Hazel, for working with her to get her song ready & tune her violin. Their song was perfect.
We are thankful they were willing to share their talents and endure endless nagging to practice.
