Each of the older three children played an arrangement of "Sleigh Ride" during their many Christmas concerts. We argued discussed rather heatedly as to which orchestra group played it best. (K played it during both of her Christmas concerts). Honestly, it's hard to say which version was our favorite. We called it a three way tie. Everyone is a winner. :)
We won't bore you by posting all three videos. Instead, here are a zillion pictures from some of the various concerts. I think we are done for the season.
M's middle school Christmas Concert
Our church Christmas party. Not pictured are the two violinists and one youth playing a flute who accompanied the cellos.
The next day the youth performed in front of a bigger crowd at the Stake Christmas Fireside with rave reviews. We have our own mini orchestra.
