We placed our letterbox three years ago at Calico Basin, what is now Red Springs. Each May we take the short, yet steep, hike to see all the cool stamps people have entered in our notebook. Here is what our letterbox looks like.

The kids truly love the hunt for a letterbox. It's like finding hidden treasure. The great thing is that we can also do it wherever we vacation. We always look up a few clues around the area we are visiting. We've collected stamps from Seattle, St. George, and San Diego!
