My son saved us $40!
We went to get the oil changed in the van, before our upcoming road trip. After changing the oil, the mechanic came out to show me the dirty cabin air filter. He quoted a price of $60 which would include the filter & the labor. I declined. He waved the dirty filter in front of me and started his speech about breathing quality air.... I politely told him I would change it myself. Little Bear and I stopped by Autozone on the way home and purchased a filter for $20. Then, he and I emptied the glove box and took it apart so he could access the air filter. In less than ten minutes Little Bear had the new air filter in and the glove box put back together! Thanks!!
