Hmm, what could they be doing? They are strategically planning which rides to go on at the City of Fun Carnival. E saw this carnival on his daily ride to middle school on the other side of town. With a free weekend & pretty weather we decided to give it a try. (I was a teeny bit sad that none of the children wanted to visit the pumpkin patch. I guess they really are growing up.)
We gave each child a set of tickets and let them choose where to spend them. Here are some of the highlights.
J headed for the ride closest to the ticket booth. M accompanied him just for fun.
E waited patiently while the younger three rode on cars & motorcycles.
E finally got to ride on a spinning 'Starship'.
K couldn't resist the merry go round.
All of them rode jeeps.
My cute & crazy kids. They are really wonderful kids. They do their chores and pitch in whenever I ask (not always enthusiastically, but they help nonetheless). They do their homework. They play kindly with each other. They make each other laugh. They love each other. And I love them.
