Recycle

We rarely shop at Sam's Club. As a result, when we say we have to go to Sams's all the kids quickly hop in the van in anticipation.  We used to look forward to the free samples on Saturday.  Now, our kids look forward to this.....
What others see as a pile of discarded boxes, my children see as an afternoon of entertainment. (or even a week) In the true spirit of recycling, after we use the box to transport our various food purchases home, they build it into a 'toy.'

The girls once built a wishing well for depositing positive thoughts about others.

While I haven't captured all the fun box creativity in the past, I didn't want to miss this opportunity to catch this huge one.

Our entertainment center was delivered in a huge long box. At the sight of the size of the box, my children's eyes lit up! They were imagining all the new things they could build with a large box.
J built the box into a ship. After school he donned his entire sailor costume to repair the bottom.

A couple of days later, the girls turned the box into a phone booth.
