Every Thursday after school, E attended what we used to call his 'nerdy club.' They answer random trivia questions for fun. All the after school practice culminates in an all day long event where middle school teams compete to answer the most questions.
E's team competed in two early morning practice matches and three afternoon matches.
E successfully answered a good handful of questions.
He knew several of the other answers but didn't buzz in fast enough. Darn.
The competition was very close. His team went through a tie breaker round, which they ultimately lost.
