In one of the family magazines we read about some school lunch menu ideas. One of the included tips was to make an entire weeks worth of sandwiches and then to place them in the freezer. In the morning, simply add a frozen sandwich with an ice pack and the sandwich will be defrosted in time for lunch. Plus, it keeps some of the other lunch items cold (milk, cheese sticks, yogurt, etc). We need all the help we can get in the mornings so we gave it a try. The weekend before school started we made a couple of different sandwiches for each student, labeled them, and placed them in the freezer.
