Here we are yet again at another fantastic concert. (The concert in March featured only the three beginner classes. This concert showcased all six groups.) We marveled at the ease with which the beginners played their new songs. They definitely don't sound like beginners. No wonder their teacher, Mr. Woolstenhulme, won so many awards at their recent competition.
The ensemble orchestra (E and Gabi's group) played a beautiful rendition of "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri which was featured in one of the Twilight movies. The clip is below. Since Gabi is first chair in the violin section, she is the concert master. Yay!
At the winter concert, J wasn't in the picture we took of the kids in front of the theater, so we did another photo.
