With the weather cooling down, it's been nice to get outside for some 'kid' time. The collection of bikes and scooters parked at the bottom of the driveway is oddly, comforting. It's nice for the kids (and I) to have some down time to enjoy hanging out with one another. We drew chalk outlines of the family on the driveway. The next day while leaving for school, one our kids joked,
"Hey, why'd you run me over?"
The girls made a challenging hopscotch course in Spanish to help E practice counting.
We did lots of jump roping and playing with frisbees.
And this week, the weather was almost warm enough for swimming. They swam for about 15 minutes before heading to the hot tub.
