On the display tables were some of E's awards, patches, uniforms, belt loops, pinewood derby cars, etc from Cub Scouts. For the Scouting side of the table, there wasn't much to show since he wore his uniform, including merit badges. He did receive many letters of congratulations from various people including our senators, POTUS, and the General Young Men's Presidency.
Refreshments were also sweet & simple. Cake, cookies, cream puffs, and chocolate pretzel treats sat on the table decorated with stars. (J happily punched out red, blue, and khaki colors.) M made the pennant that hung behind the table on the wall with the cards that showed the ranks of scouting.
