Grandma thought the girls might like to make friendship star quilt blocks. She brought everything with her, including her fancy Husqvarna Viking sewing machine. She let the girls use her machine while she used my old Singer machine. They took over the entire kitchen with their sewing. They did an awesome job sewing, ironing, trimming, etc.
Grandpa was a great companion to J this weekend while we busily got things ready for the court of honor. He patiently listened to Jared talk about his Cub Scouts achievements and belt loops in great detail.
We almost forgot to take our funny picture with random things.
We are always thankful when Uncle comes to visit. His video gaming skills are put to use on whatever game the kids need help. :)
