Both K and E participated in their respective festival competitions this weekend. K played "Concerto No 5 in D Major, Opera 22, 1st Movement". Not only did she play with varying rhythm and dynamics she also remembered to use vibrato. She earned a Superior-with Honors. Congrats K!!
E's high school symphony played the required scales in addition to two beautiful pieces of music: "Hungarian Dance No 3 by Brahms" and "Symphony No 1 in C Major by Beethoven". The last song was over ten minutes long!!
They also earned the highest rating: Superior. Congrats to E and everyone in the symphony.
After the festival concerts we found a few geocaches and then checked out "The Container Park".
