It's that time of year when the cheer season is wrapping up and volleyball begins. For the first month of volleyball (February) we had one high school team to support. E is on the JV team and plays as the libero, hence, the different colored jersey. Their team has won 4 out of 5 preseason games so far. Awesome! We look forward to the season which starts after spring break.
J began playing volleyball a few weeks ago at a nearby volleyball club. After only 4 practices his all boys team participated in a tournament. They won 2 out of 3 games. Yay!
The boys who had been together since the winter were very friendly and welcoming to J (who had never touched a volleyball before). He was all too happy to make new friends and invest his energy in sports. We look forward to watching him improve and play in his tournaments next month.
