Customer in Training

One morning a week, while the older siblings are at school, my youngest is subjected to grocery errands. He is a such a good sport and helps me find whatever is on my list. Sometimes, he has his own list. To encourage his writing, I told him he could buy whatever was on his list. He meticulously copied Cheetos and Trident onto his list. At least he didn't write Nintendo!!
At his request, every once in awhile, we go to Whole Foods. Whole Foods has little shopping carts, just for kids. Attached to mini carts are poles that read, "Customer in Training." He feels so important pushing around his own cart. He picks out his own fruit and a snack (sweet potato chips). Then we're off to finish our errands.
