Does anything get better than hanging out at your Mom's house? We enjoyed every minute of our 5 day visit to my Mom on Kauai. The only grandchild to come to Grandma's house was E when he was 14 months old. He didn't remember. :( So Grandma was excited to show us everything!!!
At her house, the kids were busy with all the wild animals running around her backyard..geckos, chickens, & butterflies that would land on you! We even picked some fresh mangos.
In addition to our daily ritual of beach & shave ice, we visited many 'tourist spots' including Spouting Horn, Lumaha'i Beach (where parts of South Pacific were filmed) & a picnic at Hanalei Bay. We also did some letterboxing. Grandma would shout with glee when she found it! These are pictures from Poipu Beach.
Grandma also took us to see several caves & waterfalls. These are pictures from Ke'e Beach where J learned to snorkel & Glass Beach. Dad did all of his surfing at Kalapaki Beach and sadly I don't have any pictures from the evening we spent there.

We took family pictures. Now, I just have to decide which one to use for our Christmas card. It's going to be tough!
