The 'home makeover' mentioned in the previous post finished in the nick of time. We finished painting only hours before extended family came to town for a baby blessing. The next morning, we hosted the extended family for brunch, before we heading to the chapel. There were so many out of town visitors for the blessing, we took up more than five pews in the chapel (3 in the middle and 2 on the side). All the girl cousins (6 of them) squished into a bench and happily looked through old Friend magazines together. After the first hour of church, we visited Uncle Ralph's house for an early dinner buffet. It was great to catch up with everyone that we haven't seen in awhile. Hopefully it won't be as long before we see you all again!
