Buster, our dog, is a standard poodle. If you were to search wikipedia for information on poodles, you would learn that poodles were bred to be water dogs. The word poodle comes from German meaning, to splash in the water. Also, standard poodles gained great fame as water workers. The list goes on and on about the great abilities of poodles in the water. So, we were excited to see Buster in action.
The Prescott's graciously invited our family & Buster to swim. Their dog, Khloee, is a natural in the water. Buster, not so much. While we learned that he can swim, he doesn't really like the water. Khloee is the white dog in the bottom left corner of the picture happily swimming. Buster is the dog in the center of the picture, perched on a ledge trying to figure a way out of the pool. Oh the irony!
