Someone is 8!!

My little princess is 8. We weren't sure when her party was going to take place. On Sunday of the week of her birthday, we finally decided to have the party that coming weekend.  Talk about last minute.  She quickly chose an 'art theme' and we threw it all together.  We were happy to spend a day (or two) celebrating with her and her friends!
Partying with girls is filled with lots of giggles.  They giggled while painting. They giggled while playing the games.  They even giggled while breaking open the pinata.

They giggled the most while playing with the parachute.  We tossed colorful caterpillars on the parachute and watched them fly. I think they giggled more trying not to get caught while running under the parachute. They continued to laugh during lunch and for photos. What a cute group.

As usual, Daddy is a fabulous host! Mom does all the party planning, shopping, & behind the scenes work.  Come party day, Dad runs the show. A special thank you to a group of older sisters who were big helpers during the party.  E is not in the picture but he also helped to make this party a success. Throwing parties for the younger children of ours has been a breeze with older children to assist with the games, food, and activities.
