Coincidentally as J was learning the names of common 3-D shapes in his first grade class (sphere, cylinder, prism, etc), M completed a math unit on solid figures. As part of her math unit she constructed several of the shapes using patterns. J couldn't resist the opportunity to make a few of his own. As usual, K didn't want to miss out, so she made one too. Gluing it together is the tricky part!
