Oh!!!! Deer!!!!

Having never seen a deer (we are not counting the zoo), this was quite exciting. One deer paused about to cross the road.  It froze in place as it contemplated its choices.  We waited patiently.  Unfortunately, it changed its mind and went back the way it came.

The title of this post makes us chuckle.  The children's Great Grandpa W used to utter the phrase, "Oh dear...."  whenever something went amiss.  We found it humorous when one of the younger ones shouted, "Oh!!! Deer!!!" as we were driving by. Everyone burst into giggles.  (Maybe that's why the deer didn't want to cross the road) I guess you had to be there.
