Our red eye flight arrived on Oahu at 5:15 am. We couldn't check into our hotel until 2 pm. What could we do? Go hiking! We hiked to the top of Diamond Head for a beautiful view.
Since the hike is just shy of a mile with an elevation gain of 560 feet the path is steep and includes 4 staircases. This set of steep stairs has 99 steps!
After our hike, we went to Ala Moana to check out the beach, relax, and let the kids play at the park.
