Although this was the second game of the season for the Grizzlies, this was J's first game. (He was sick at home during the season opener.) He enjoyed playing on the offensive line during their awesome game. They won 19-0!
He has his own personal 'cheer team'.
I have to confess, when he asked to play football I had no idea if they had leagues for young children. I naively thought it was a sport for older boys. Lindsey S. gave me some Coaches' names and within two days J began practicing with the Grizzlies. (Lindsey has three boys who play!!) Some of the teams have boys as young as 5. Wow! For now, J is learning more how to play the game he loves.
